It's a summer round-up!

In between weekends at the lake and crowing about my clients, I love to see what my fellow marketers are doing and saying online. Call it professional development–it’s just a lot of fun! No matter the season, it’s important to remember these tips to keep your audience engaged.

Why join the thousands of other brands that use social media? The bottom line: it’s a cost-effective, authentic way to connect with your audience. There’s a world of opportunity waiting for you.

People who follow brands are more likely to purchase from that brand. Your product or service stays top-of-mind. Now that’s a tip I love to follow!


Give the people what they love. You know what makes your brand so special. Use social media to say it! Promote a sale, give a tutorial on your most-loved product, or give a shout-out to a customer who is giving you props.


Be consistent with your presence and thoughtful with your content! I can’t say enough how important content strategy is for marketing. It affects both internal and external communications. It impacts every interaction with your customers.
