Google My Business adds NEW feature for business listings

Your business’ Google listing is a great way for potential customers to discover you. For example, someone searching for ‘salon in Guilderland’ or ‘salon near me’ may find you. Having got great reviews and photos about your business, that could make all the difference in whether or not they make an appointment at your salon or your competitors.

You can now post live updates – such as news, promotions, and upcoming events – on your Google listing. The best part? Your customers can take direct actions on the post, like making a reservation, buying a product, or signing up to a valuable newsletter.

Pretty cool, huh?

It’s pretty easy to do. Just log into your Google My Business account. You’ll see the ‘Posts’ feature. You can add a picture and a call to action to your post. Here’s what it looks like:
