The Niskayuna Co-op has been in operation since 1943. Founded during WWII, this member-supported grocery store continues to provide a vital service to the community. In recent years, the grocery store After an extensive remodel, it was time to update the website.
A key initiative of the Co-op was to create a community feel to the website and highlight its breadth of services and departments. The Co-op engaged Ruth & Co. and Marketing Kangaroo to work together as a team to build the new website. Ruth filled the role of creative director and designed a fresh look and feel for the new website.
Marketing Kangaroo focused on the user experience (UX), created a streamlined sitemap with multiple ways for customers to connect with market staff. We built the site with WordPress, making it easy for Co-op staff to update weekly specials and make other content edits.
Our hosting partner, Web Instinct, made it easy to transfer the completed site to its hosting environment and assisted with email setup.
